Hainan KING-SHORE Engineering and Industry(Group) Corporation was established by Jiang Daiyun in Hainan province—the largest SEZ in 1989. It’s formerly knowed as “ Hainan KING-SHORE Engineering and Industry Co., Ltd”.At the beginning of its establishment it mainly engaged in building decoration design and construction. Along with building fever of Hainan province and through efforts of KING-SHORE people of the first generation, the Corporation completed successfully the decoration works design and construction of a series of project such as eight key projects of Hainan province---“ Hainan Sanya Qingyuntai Villas”, and “ Haikou International Financial Hotel” and won extensive favorable reports. Among which, “Sanya Qingyuntai villas” was listed for inspection by President Jiang Zemin at early 1993.The outstanding achievement and surefooted style lead the Corporation into the lines of first class decoration enterprises in Hainan very soon.
In 1993, the Corporation started pluralism oriented development. It established “Haikou KING-SHORE Decoration Materials Co., Ltd “ and Imported Sanitary Ware Shopping Plaza, moreover set foot in realty industry. In 1994, “Haikou KING-SHORE Air-Conditioning Engineering Co., Ltd” was announced to be established also.A industry group with building decoration engineering as principal and integrating design, construction, building material and realty has come into being till 1994 and it was renamed officially as “Hainan KING-SHORE Engineering and Industry Corporation”.In the same year, the Corporation started exploring inland market and took up the design, construction and supervision of various projects such as “Mansion of Bank of China, Chongqing”.After which Guangzhou Office and Beijing Office were set up one after another.Which indicated that the strategic disposition of “Explore into the Southwestern area based on coastal area and then spread all over the home market” has come into being preliminarily.
Year 1996 was a new starting point of the Corporation.Mr. Jiang Daiyun, the founder of the Corporation went to Japan and southeast Asian countries to carry out study and research as invited and elected IRDA member and Director of Hainan Office of IRDA China Department. Since then the Corporation began transformation to a new modernized enterprise. The Corporation began enterprise system reform and stock-holding system reorganization and set up new market strategy with new concepts brought from overseas.In the same year, the registered capital of the Corporation grew to 20million RMB and the nature altered as share holding liability. The Corporation became a permanent member of Hainan Building Industry Association and at the same time it won “Class A construction qualification of interior decoration” of the Ministry of Light Industry of China.In 1997 the Corporation unfolded modern enterprise system development from all aspects. It engaged talents as base and technology as means to enhance enterprise brand and enterprise culture development. It further defined property rights division and imported CI system again. Moreover it registered enterprise brand with CTMO and put forward the business concept of KING-SHORE enterprise group.Also in the same year, <KING-SHORE Bulletin> , a publication to promote KING-SHORE enterprise culture started publication. “Chongqing KING-SHORE Engineering Co., Ltd”, “Guizhou KING-SHORE Decoration Engineering Co., Ltd” and Sino-foreign joint venture “Chongqing Hongsha Property Development Corporation” were established one after another. So far a enterprise group frame of plural development has been set up.
In 1998, along with further national administration on building decoration industry.And with the continuous growth of the corporation, it became one of the first enterprises of first class building decoration construction qualification in Hainan province.In 1999, it was one of the enterprises who won class A building decoration design qualification earliest in Hainan.In 2001, the Corporation established special design organization—“Building Decoration Design and Research Institute” in order to enhance design capability, improve design quality and create more elaborate works. The institute boasted of more than 40 personnel of various professions and it was examined and approved at class A survey and design institute by Hainan Construction Bureau. At the same time Mr. Jiang Daiyun won the honorary title of outstanding president of survey and design institute of the first session of Hainan province. Due to Mr. Jiang Daiyun’s special contribution to building decoration industry development, he was elected as Executive member of Fifth Council of China Building Decoration Association by the fifth session of representative assembly of China Building Decoration Association.
By ten years hard working, KING-SHORE enterprises have set up branches or offices in Chongqing, Guizhou, Beijing, Tianjin, Zhengzhou, Haerbin, Xi’an, Chengdu, Lanzhou and so on. It’s achievement spread all over the country and it became one of the top powerful decoration enterprise in China.
After entering into 21 century, with growing severity of industry competition and as required by international unification, the Corporation passed ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO18001 attestation system which strengthened its competitive edge and which was fundamental to the Corporation after China’ entering into WTO. It also made the operation and administration of the company more systemized, standardized and internationalized and it steady the company development.In 2000 the Corporation was approved as “Best Image Enterprise of Hainan Province”; in 2001 “Civilized and Faithful Enterprise of Hainan”, in 2002 “Enterprise of Good Quality and Service”; in 2003 “Best Enterprise Innovation Award. In 2004, Mr. Jiang Daiyun, the general manager was approved as one of the “Ten Elites of Hainan Province” and in 2005 the Corporation won the honorary title of “Hainan Well Known Decoration Enterprise”.
